The Wilwood 140-9803-D is a Forged Narrow Superlite 6R big brake front kit built for 1964-1972 GM A, F, and X-Body vehicles, including the Camaro, Nova, Chevelle, El Camino, and their Buick, Oldsmobile, and Pontiac counterparts. It pairs six-piston Forged Narrow Superlite 6R calipers, finished in black powder coat, with 12.88-inch SRP drilled and slotted rotors for a serious upgrade in braking power and curb appeal over the factory setup.

The radial-mount calipers use a differential-bore, six-piston design for even pad wear and consistent clamping force, backed by BP-10 compound pads suited to street and dual-purpose track use. Rotors are cast from Spec-37 iron, finished in black electro coat, and dynamically balanced for smooth performance. An aluminum hat-mount hub and flared-bell hat complete the rotating assembly, giving the kit a finished, application-specific look rather than a generic bolt-on appearance.
