Fitment Notes

• Direct OE bolt-on fit for 1997-2013 Chevrolet Corvette (C5/C6, all trims including Z06, ZR1, Grand Sport) and 2004-2010 Cadillac XLR using factory disc spindles - no spindle modifications required.
• Classic GM A-Body, F-Body, X-Body, and other muscle car/classic applications require a Ridetech Hub Spindle, Art Morrison GT Sport Chassis, Detroit Speed suspension, or ATS/Speedtech AFX Spindle - not a direct bolt-on to OE drum spindles.
• Requires 17-inch or larger wheels. Verify clearance using Wilwood's wheel clearance diagram (DS502) before purchase.
• Braided stainless steel flex lines are required and sold separately. Three line kit options are compatible: P/N 220-8176, 220-9100, or 220-12168 depending on application.
• Compatible with OE master cylinder output and factory ABS functions on all Corvette and XLR applications.

Product Description

The Wilwood 140-8921-DR FNSL6R Big Brake Front Brake Kit is a direct bolt-on upgrade for 1997-2013 Chevrolet Corvette C5 and C6 models - including the Z06, ZR1, Grand Sport, and 427 - as well as the 2004-2010 Cadillac XLR. The kit replaces the factory front brakes with forged six-piston FNSL6R calipers in Red Powder Coat and 13.06-inch SRP Drilled and Slotted Spec-37 iron rotors, delivering a meaningful increase in both braking capacity and visual presence over the OE system.

Wilwood engineered this kit to be fully volume-matched with the factory master cylinder, retaining OE ABS function with no modifications required on Corvette and XLR applications. The 48-vane curved vane rotors promote superior heat dissipation for track days and aggressive street use, while the drilled and slotted surface improves outgassing under hard braking. For classic GM muscle car builds using Ridetech, Detroit Speed, or Art Morrison suspension systems, this kit provides the same six-piston performance when the appropriate hub spindle is installed. Stainless flex lines are required and sold separately.
