Product Description

The Wilwood 140-2118-DR is a Forged Dynalite Pro Series rear disc brake kit engineered for Ford 9-inch rear axles with Big Ford New Style housing ends at a 2.50-inch offset. The kit packages forged billet Dynalite 4-piston calipers in red powder coat with 12.19-inch two-piece SRP drilled and slotted vented rotors mounted on triple-bolt-circle aluminum hats, delivering serious stopping power for muscle car, off-road, competition, and custom applications where individual wheel parking brakes are not required.

Each caliper features dual 1.38-inch stainless steel pistons per side (3.00 sq in total piston area) paired with high-friction BP-10 compound pads for optimized and balanced braking under demanding conditions. The two-piece hat and rotor assembly reduces unsprung weight versus one-piece iron rotors while the 32-vane vented rotor design provides efficient heat dissipation. Also available with black calipers (140-2118-BD), polished calipers (140-2118-DP), or smooth undrilled rotors (140-2118-R). Optional MC4 parking brake upgrade kit 140-14415 available separately.
