Product Description

The Wilwood 140-11009-DR is a Forged Dynalite Pro Series front brake conversion kit designed for a wide range of 1979-2002 GM G-Body, B-Body, and S-Series trucks including the Chevrolet Monte Carlo, El Camino, Malibu, Caprice, S10, and their Buick, Oldsmobile, and GMC counterparts. Built around Wilwood's venerable Forged Dynalite 4-piston billet aluminum caliper in red powder coat, this kit replaces the entire front hub and brake assembly with a purpose-built performance disc brake system on traditional non-ABS factory disc spindles. The dual bolt circle aluminum hub accommodates both 5x4.5" and 5x4.75" wheel patterns, and the 11.00" drilled and slotted iron rotor delivers substantially improved stopping power over the factory setup.

The FDL Pro-Series kit is engineered for non-ABS traditional spindle applications on American muscle cars, vintage rods, and street/strip machines. Most applications install without spindle modification, and the kit fits inside popular 14" and larger wheels. The included stainless steel braided flexline hose kit handles the brake line transition to the Wilwood calipers -- a separate hard line kit (P/N 220-7056) is required to complete the hydraulic connection. Compatible with manual or power-boosted master cylinders, the kit is equally suited to daily driver builds, show cars, and high-performance street applications.
