The Wilwood 140-1033-BD Forged Dynalite (FDL) Front Drag Brake Kit is drag racing's most popular front brake conversion, designed for 1979-1988 GM G-Body muscle cars (Buick Regal/Grand National, Chevrolet El Camino/Malibu/Monte Carlo, Oldsmobile Cutlass, Pontiac Grand Prix and others) as well as 1982-2002 GM S-Series trucks (Chevrolet S10/Blazer, GMC S15/Sonoma/Jimmy) in 2WD configurations with drum rear brakes. The kit pairs forged billet 4-piston Dynalite calipers in black anodized finish with 10.75-inch cross-drilled solid rotors and forged billet 5-lug hubs, delivering an average weight savings of over 30 pounds versus the stock drum or disc setup -- a critical advantage at the drag strip.

The 4-piston Dynalite calipers mount directly to the factory spindle with a bolt-on bracket, while the dual-drilled 5x4.5" and 5x4.75" bolt pattern hubs accept a wide range of aftermarket racing wheels (15-inch minimum diameter). All necessary hardware is included in the kit: wheel bearings, seals, extra-length 1/2"-20 lug studs, mounting brackets, Wilwood SmartPad pads, and complete installation hardware. The system is fully compatible with the factory master cylinder output and is engineered for 4-wheel disc cars up to 2,800 lbs or rear-drum cars up to 2,400 lbs.
