Product Description

The Wilwood 140-10790 Rear D8-4 Caliper Kit is a direct rear brake upgrade for 1965 through 1982 Chevrolet Corvette (C2 and C3 generations). Featuring forged aluminum bodies with Type III hard anodize and stainless steel pistons, this kit improves corrosion resistance and reduces unsprung weight versus original equipment. The four-piston configuration increases clamping force for improved braking response and fade resistance on both street and occasional track use.

This bolt-on kit uses stock rotor fitment and original mounting locations for straightforward installation. Included stainless braided brake lines and high-friction pads deliver better pedal feel and enhanced stopping performance compared to aging OE components. Note that wheel clearance should be verified - most 15" or larger wheels are recommended to accommodate the caliper size without interference.
