Product Description

The Wilwood 140-11290-BK D52 Front Caliper Kit is a direct bolt-on front brake upgrade for a wide range of 1968-1996 GM rear-wheel-drive cars and light trucks that use the common GM D52 front caliper mount. It replaces the original single-piston iron caliper with a lightweight forged aluminum dual-piston unit, delivering better pedal feel, stronger clamping, and improved heat management while still using the stock rotor and spindle on the listed GM platforms.

Because the kit is built around the GM D52 pattern, it fits popular GM muscle (A-body, F-body), later G-body cars, full-size B-body sedans, and many C10/S-10 light trucks that kept the standard GM front disc layout. It is an ideal solution for restomods and classic trucks where you want modern braking performance without changing spindles or moving to a larger rotor package.
