The Wilwood 120-13840 Forged Dynalite Internal (FDLI) brake caliper is a lightweight, high-strength four-piston caliper engineered for racing, high-performance street, and custom brake system applications. Built using Wilwood's stress-flow forged aluminum process, the caliper body features improved grain structure and structural rigidity compared to traditional billet designs. This manufacturing method significantly reduces deflection under heavy braking loads and improves overall clamping efficiency. 

This FDLI caliper features four 1.38-inch stainless steel pistons that deliver consistent pad pressure across the braking surface while resisting heat transfer and corrosion. The spacer-less bridge design improves stiffness and allows greater wheel clearance, making it a popular choice for drag racing, road racing, street performance builds, and custom brake conversions.
