The Wilwood 120-9701 is a DynaPro Lug Mount (DP) 4-piston forged billet caliper, representing Wilwood's newest-generation upgrade to the long-running Dynalite lug mount caliper series. Built from stress-flow forged billet aluminum, its FEA-optimized body design features a reinforced radial transition between piston housings and bridges that significantly reduces caliper deflection and fluid volume displacement under load - translating directly into a firmer pedal and more efficient clamping with less pedal travel.

The DP's Quick-E-Clip top-loaded pad retainers allow pad changes without removing the caliper, and the elimination of bottom pad supports creates a slimmer overall profile that fits tight clearance applications more easily than many competing designs. Heavy-wall stainless steel pistons slow heat transfer from the pads and are upgradeable to optional Thermlock pistons for high-heat applications. The caliper is sold individually, accepts pad shape 7812 in all Wilwood PolyMatrix compounds (BP-10 through BP-45 and BP-Q), and suits a wide range of applications from street rods and drag racing to road course, dirt oval, and off-road builds.
