Product Description

The Wilwood 150-TX1-10120K is a set of TX1 Tactical Xtreme brake pads on pad plate 10120 for use with Wilwood TX6R and TX4R Forged Radial Mount calipers. The TX1 compound is the most specialized in Wilwood's lineup -- developed specifically for armored vehicles and severe duty applications where consistent braking performance across a wide temperature range is more critical than peak friction coefficient. Unlike race compounds that require heat to reach effective operating temperature, TX1 delivers medium-high friction from as low as 100°F and maintains a flat torque curve all the way to 1200°F, ensuring predictable pedal feel whether the brakes are cold or fully heat-cycled.

Designed for vehicles up to 14,000 lbs. GVWR, the TX1 compound pairs with the TX6R and TX4R calipers' forged aluminum construction, stainless steel pistons, and large pad volume for a braking system rated for Class 1, 2, and 3 armored vehicle duty -- as well as heavy trucks, towing applications, and severe off-road use.
