Product Description

The Wilwood 140-12629 AERO6 6-Piston Front Caliper Kit is a premium big-brake upgrade engineered specifically for 1997 through 2013 Chevrolet Corvette C5 and C6 models. Featuring forged aluminum AERO6 radial-mount calipers with six pistons per side, this kit delivers significantly increased clamping force and improved braking performance over stock front calipers. The high-strength triple-bridge design provides stability under load, while the included BP-20 dual-sport brake pads offer a balance of clean street operation and high-temperature fade resistance for spirited driving.

Installation uses the car's original mounting locations with supplied brackets and hardware for correct caliper offset. This kit is designed for use with the OE 13.38" Z51 or 13.97" Z06 variant front rotors, and it remains compatible with the Corvette's ABS and master cylinder systems. Caliper and bracket hardware are included, but brake lines are not - a Wilwood-specified line kit is recommended for complete installation. Most applications will require 18" or larger wheels to clear the larger caliper and rotor combination.
