Product Description

The Wilwood 140-16805-DR AERO6-DM Direct-Mount Front Brake Kit is an engineered big brake upgrade for the GMT T1XX platform - covering 2019-2025 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500, and 2020-2025 Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, Yukon XL, and Cadillac Escalade in both 2WD and 4WD configurations. The AERO6-DM calipers bolt directly to the factory OEM spindle without any caliper brackets, making installation cleaner and more rigid than traditional bracket-mounted big brake kits.

Six-piston forged aluminum Aerolite calipers with a differential bore piston layout provide significantly greater clamping force than the factory single or four-piston iron calipers, paired with large 13.38" one-piece SRP drilled and slotted iron rotors for exceptional thermal capacity. BP-22 ceramic-composite pads deliver improved modulation, reduced fade, and lower dust compared to OEM pads - ideal for towing, hauling, off-road use, and spirited performance driving. The kit is fully compatible with all factory ABS and electronic brake systems with no reprogramming required. Front flexline kit (#220-10979) is required and sold separately.
