The Wilwood 140-16804-DR AERO6-DM is a direct-mount front big brake kit engineered for the GMT900/GMTK2XX platform GM 1500 trucks and SUVs -- Silverado, Sierra, Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, Escalade, and Avalanche -- delivering serious stopping power for towing, off-road use, and enhanced braking to match wheel and tire upgrades. Forged aluminum six-piston calipers with cross-drilled and slotted rotors deliver a substantial increase in clamping force over the factory floating calipers these trucks ship with.

Designed to fit most factory and aftermarket 17" wheels, this kit provides better hold while crawling at low speed and significantly more thermal capacity for high-demand highway and off-road use, including towing, hauling, and commercial applications. The direct-mount design remains compatible with OEM rear brakes, master cylinder, and ABS system, simplifying installation without requiring a full brake system overhaul.
