Vehicle Fitment

  • 2003-2009 Toyota 4Runner (4th Gen, 4WD, 4.0L V6 / 4.7L V8)
  • 2010-2024 Toyota 4Runner (5th Gen, 4WD / RWD, 4.0L V6)
  • 2009-2018 Toyota FJ Cruiser (GSJ15, 4WD, 4.0L V6)
  • 2003-2009 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado (120 Series, 4WD)
  • 2009-2024 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado (150 Series, 4WD)

Fitment Notes

  • Fixed offset design - not adjustable; caster and camber correction is built into the arm geometry
  • Designed for vehicles lifted between 30mm-70mm (approximately 1.2-2.75 in); geometry figures based on approximately 50mm / 2 in lift
  • Does not fit the 2025+ Toyota 4Runner (6th Gen TNGA-F platform) or 2024+ Toyota Land Cruiser 250 Series
  • Front wheel alignment required after installation
  • Tricky installation - experienced installer recommended; estimated install time 2 hours per side
  • Sold as a pair (left + right); 2 arms per kit; ball joints included

Features

  • Fixed offset design provides +2.5 to +3.5 degrees of caster increase and up to 1.5 degrees of additional negative camber (based on ~50mm / 2 in lift)
  • Restores proper front alignment geometry lost after suspension lifts, eliminating steering wander, uneven tire wear, and reduced handling precision
  • Maintenance-free GIIRO bushing technology delivers superior pivot articulation without grease requirements
  • Increased ball joint clearance to the coil-over strut improves suspension travel at ride and droop height
  • Specially bonded synthetic elastomer construction resists oil, grease, ozone, and weathering for long-term durability
  • Precision dampening voids reduce harshness from sudden road inputs while maintaining alignment control
  • Silver powder coat finish provides a hard, corrosion-resistant exterior tougher than conventional paint
  • Backed by a 3-year Whiteline product warranty

Product Description

The Whiteline KTA249 is a pair of fixed-offset front upper control arms engineered to correct the camber and caster geometry disrupted when lifting a 4WD IFS vehicle. Designed for the Toyota 4Runner (4th and 5th Gen), FJ Cruiser (GSJ15), and Land Cruiser Prado (120 and 150 Series), these arms provide a built-in geometry correction of +2.5 to +3.5 degrees of positive caster and up to 1.5 degrees of additional negative camber - values calibrated for an approximate 50mm (2 in) lift. Without corrected UCAs, lifted IFS vehicles commonly experience steering wander, premature tire wear, and reduced handling stability.

The fixed offset design means no on-vehicle adjustment is required - the correction is engineered directly into the arm. Maintenance-free GIIRO bushings provide superior pivot movement and articulation without any greasing, while the increased clearance between the ball joint and coil-over strut improves suspension travel at both ride and droop extremes. Fully assembled with ball joints included, the KTA249 installs in place of the factory upper arms with no cutting or fabrication. A front wheel alignment is required after installation, and Whiteline recommends installation by an experienced suspension technician.
