The Weld RT-S S71 Beadlock is a three-piece forged aluminum drag wheel built specifically for Ford Mustang S197 and S550 owners who want the security of a true beadlock on the strip. Its welded assembly process joins a forged billet center to cold-forged rim shells, combining application-specific fitment precision with the structural advantages of primary forging-grade aluminum. The black anodized forged beadlock ring uses 12-point Grade 8 hardware to mechanically clamp the outer tire bead, preventing any tire movement or unseating under the high-torque shock of a drag launch - a critical feature for Mustangs running drag radials or slicks at the rear.

The medium pad height is engineered to clear both OEM Brembo multi-piston calipers and drum brake setups on supported applications, making this a versatile fitment across the Mustang S197 lineup. At 15x10 with a +50mm offset and 7.50" backspacing, the wheel positions a wide drag tire squarely within the factory rear wheel well for a functional, race-correct stance. Important fitment notes apply: 2005-2014 Mustang GT installations require a BMR or Steeda rear sway bar relocation kit, 2015-2023 Mustang GT and EcoBoost require a 14" rear brake conversion kit, and the 2013-2014 GT500 OEM rear brakes are not compatible without an aftermarket brake conversion.

Short shank mag-style lug nuts (.500"-.550" shank length) are required for installation - standard conical lug nuts will not seat correctly. This wheel is sold individually and made to order; a dedicated front wheel should be sourced separately to complete a full drag setup.
