Vehicle Fitment

  • Universal - compatible with any gasoline EFI vehicle using an aftermarket in-tank fuel pump hat or custom fuel module that accommodates a 39/50mm dual-diameter pump body
  • Suitable for naturally aspirated, turbocharged, and supercharged gasoline EFI applications exceeding 500 horsepower
  • Commonly used with Fore Innovations, Division X, and similar aftermarket fuel hat/module systems designed for the 39/50mm pump format

Fitment Notes

  • This pump has a stepped body: 39mm upper housing diameter and 50mm lower housing diameter - it will NOT fit standard 39mm OEM or aftermarket hanger assemblies designed for single-diameter pumps. An aftermarket fuel hat or module specifically designed for the 39/50mm format is required.
  • This pump is for GASOLINE only - NOT compatible with E85, methanol, or high-ethanol blends. For E85-compatible applications, use the Walbro TIA485 (F90000267) instead.
  • Requires modifications to the vehicle's fuel system wiring, fuel lines, and fuel module - professional installation is strongly recommended.
  • Pump F90000262 and F90000273 are dimensionally identical - the F90000273 features a higher-rated internal relief valve for systems requiring elevated fuel pressures beyond the F90000262's 87 PSI maximum.
  • This listing is for the pump only - installation kit (400-1136) must be purchased separately unless bundled.

Features

  • Dual-Channel Single-Stage (DCSS) turbine design uses a single impeller with two parallel rows of turbine blades feeding two independent high-pressure pumping channels simultaneously - delivering maximum flow efficiency for direct injection and high-boost forced induction systems.
  • 400 LPH flow rate at 40 PSI and 13.5V supports up to 650 horsepower in gasoline EFI applications - a major step up from single-channel 255 LPH pump setups.
  • 20% more efficient than conventional single-stage turbine pump designs, resulting in improved hot fuel flow, quieter operation, and lower current draw relative to flow output.
  • Significantly quieter in operation than gerotor-style pumps - the turbine blade design eliminates the characteristic whining noise associated with metal gerotor internals.
  • Award-winning OE technology designed and validated to OEM specifications for high-pressure, high-temperature fuel system environments.
  • Stepped 39/50mm body format provides a wider, more stable lower base for mounting in compatible aftermarket fuel hat assemblies.
  • Compatible with install kit 400-1136, which includes the necessary strainer, hose, pigtail, and hardware for a complete aftermarket installation.
  • Made in the USA at TI Automotive's Caro, Michigan manufacturing facility.

Product Description

The Walbro F90000262 is a 400 LPH Dual-Channel Single-Stage (DCSS) twin turbine in-tank fuel pump engineered for high-horsepower gasoline EFI applications where a single 255 LPH pump is no longer sufficient. Its innovative DCSS design uses a single impeller shaft carrying two parallel rows of turbine blades, each feeding a separate high-pressure pumping channel simultaneously. This configuration delivers fuel through two independent flow paths rather than the single channel of a conventional turbine pump, resulting in 20% greater efficiency, improved hot fuel flow, and significantly quieter operation - eliminating the loud whining characteristic of gerotor-design pumps. At 400 LPH and 40 PSI, it supports up to 650 horsepower in gasoline builds and is particularly well suited to modern turbocharged and direct injection applications where fuel demand exceeds what standard single-channel pumps can sustain under load.

The F90000262 uses a stepped 39/50mm body format - 39mm for the upper housing and 50mm for the lower - which is a fundamentally different physical format from the 39mm straightwall GSS series pumps. It will NOT fit standard OEM fuel pump hangers or 39mm single-diameter aftermarket hanger assemblies. A purpose-built aftermarket fuel hat or module designed for the 39/50mm pump body is required - popular compatible systems include Fore Innovations, Division X, and similar aftermarket in-tank fuel module platforms. Modifications to the vehicle's fuel system wiring, fuel lines, and fuel module are required, and professional installation is recommended.

This pump is dimensionally identical to the F90000273 - the only difference is the F90000273's higher-rated internal relief valve, which accommodates fuel systems requiring operating pressures beyond the F90000262's 87 PSI maximum. The F90000262 is designed for gasoline only; for E85 and flex-fuel applications, the Walbro TIA485 (F90000267) is the correct alternative. The compatible installation kit is the Walbro 400-1136, which must be purchased separately. Made in the USA at TI Automotive's Caro, Michigan facility.
