Product Description

The Wagner Tuning 200001124 is a Competition series intercooler kit for the 2015-2019 BMW M3 (F80), M4 (F82/F83), and 2019-2020 M2 Competition (F87) equipped with the 3.0-liter S55B30 twin-turbo inline-six engine. The S55 uses an indirect charge-air cooling circuit with a factory water-cooled intercooler, and this Wagner Tuning unit is a direct replacement that delivers 114% more core volume -- 6.10 liters versus the stock 2.85 liters -- for dramatically improved heat rejection and significantly cooler, denser intake air under sustained high-performance driving conditions.

The Tube Fin competition core is purpose-developed for the demanding requirements of the S55 engine, with a calculated ratio between inner and outer cooling surfaces that generates maximum heat transfer while maintaining optimal internal airflow and minimal back pressure -- making this intercooler ideal for both street performance and dedicated track or racing use. The cast aluminum end tanks were designed in CAD and optimized through CFD simulations for excellent cooling efficiency with the lowest possible pressure drop. The entire assembly is coated with a heat-conductive anti-corrosion treatment for long-term durability and sustained cooling performance. Installation is plug and play with no modifications required, and detailed instructions are included. For M2 Competition applications, slight adjustments inside the hood may be necessary.
