The Vibrant 12850 Vertical Flow Intercooler Core delivers superior cooling performance for turbocharged applications rated up to approximately 350 horsepower. Constructed from 6061 aluminum with proven bar and plate design, this intercooler core provides maximum cooling efficiency while minimizing pressure drop across the charge air path. The vertical flow configuration places inlet and outlet on the top and bottom of the core, making it ideal for engine bays where horizontal mounting is not possible. Advanced fin design features louvered fins on the ambient air path to maximize cooling airflow, combined with offset fins on the charge air path to optimize heat transfer from compressed intake air. This bar and plate construction dramatically outperforms traditional tube and fin intercooler designs, delivering significantly cooler, denser air to your engine for improved power output and reliability. Built to handle the demands of extreme high-boost race applications, this core offers the strength and durability required for competition use.
