The Vibrant Performance 17065 Thermostatic Oil Cooler Sandwich Adapter is designed to integrate an external oil cooler into high-performance or custom engine builds while maintaining proper oil temperature control. Installed between the engine block and the oil filter, this adapter allows oil to be routed through external -10AN lines to a cooler while keeping the factory oil filter position intact. Its built-in thermostat ensures the oil warms up properly before circulating through the cooler.

Constructed from durable billet 6061 aluminum with a black anodized finish, the adapter provides excellent strength, corrosion resistance, and long-term reliability in demanding motorsport environments. The thermostat begins opening around 160°F and is fully open at approximately 180°F, helping maintain optimal oil temperature under both street and track conditions. The kit includes -10AN fittings and multiple oil filter adapter bolts, allowing compatibility with a wide range of engines using common spin-on oil filters.
