Product Description

The Vibrant 66004 is a LiteFlex exhaust flex coupling in 3 in. inside diameter and 4 in. overall length, featuring an internal stainless steel interlock liner and a lightweight outer wire mesh. The interlock liner provides smooth exhaust gas flow while protecting the flexible bellows corrugations from the elevated exhaust temperatures of high-performance applications - including forced induction builds where exhaust gas temperatures are significantly higher than in naturally aspirated systems. The lightweight wire mesh outer construction constrains bellows expansion and provides road debris protection while keeping the coupling lighter than the heavier TurboFlex series.

The flexible bellows absorbs engine vibration and accommodates thermal expansion in the exhaust system - relieving stress on welded joints, manifolds, and downpipes that would otherwise fatigue and crack under sustained vibration loads. The compact 4 in. overall length suits installations where exhaust component spacing is limited. For naturally aspirated applications, the Standard Flex Coupling series (628xx/630xx) is available.
