Product Description

The Vibrant 66006 is a LiteFlex exhaust flex coupling in 3 in. inside diameter and 6 in. overall length, featuring an internal stainless steel interlock liner and a lightweight outer wire mesh. The interlock liner provides smooth exhaust gas flow through the flex section while protecting the flexible bellows corrugations from the elevated exhaust temperatures of high-performance applications - including forced induction builds where exhaust gas temperatures exceed those of naturally aspirated systems. The lightweight wire mesh outer construction constrains bellows expansion and provides road debris protection while keeping the coupling's weight to a minimum.

At 6 in. overall length, the 66006 provides greater flex range and vibration isolation than the 4 in. 66004 variant, making it the better choice for installations where more movement between exhaust sections needs to be accommodated. The flexible bellows absorbs engine vibration and thermal expansion, relieving stress on welded joints, manifolds, and downpipes. For naturally aspirated applications, the Standard Flex Coupling series (628xx/630xx) is available. For extreme high-flow forced induction builds, the TurboFlex series (608xx/610xx) is the appropriate choice. Installs via welding at both ends. Sold individually.
