Product Description

The Vibrant 14610D is a precision laser-cut HRPO mild steel exhaust manifold flange designed for Honda D-Series four-cylinder engines across Civic and Del Sol generations. At 1/2 in. thick, it is heavier-walled than the stainless 1460D, providing added rigidity at the cylinder head mating surface - a common advantage of mild steel flanges in high-vibration turbo manifold applications. Port sizing is optimized for Schedule 10 or Schedule 40 pipe, making it the correct choice for builders using thick-wall schedule pipe rather than standard wall round tubing.

The HRPO surface finish requires minimal preparation before welding and accepts MIG or TIG with standard mild steel consumables. When mating to stainless tubing, 309L filler rod is recommended for a strong, corrosion-resistant joint. This flange does not fit D17 engines. Builders using standard wall round tubing should select the stainless steel variant (part number 1460D). Sold individually.
