Product Description

The Vibrant Performance 12839 is a 6061 aluminum bar and plate air-to-air intercooler core measuring 24" x 8" x 3.5", rated for approximately 600 HP and built for custom front-mount intercooler fabrication on high-boost street and race applications. The bar and plate construction delivers substantially cooler, denser air charge to the engine compared to tube-and-fin alternatives, reducing detonation risk and unlocking more of the turbocharger's power-making potential. Pressure drop across the core is minimized to preserve boost pressure throughout the intercooler circuit.

The core ships cleaned and weld-ready out of the box, allowing fabricators to move directly to end tank construction or integration with Vibrant's TIG-welded cast aluminum end tank assemblies. The 24" x 8" profile suits a wide range of front-mount intercooler positions on sport compact, muscle car, and performance truck platforms.
