Product Description

The Vibrant 16736 is a compact -6AN inline fuel and oil filter kit manufactured from 6061 aluminum alloy with a black anodized finish. The flow-directional filter body can be configured as male-to-male or female-to-male using the included AN adapters, giving installers flexibility for routing in tight spaces. Three interchangeable filter elements - 30, 80, and 150 micron - are included in each kit, making it suitable for a wide range of fluid applications including turbo oil feeds, fuel lines, power steering, and transmission fluid lines.

The 30 micron element is best suited for lightweight engine oils and pump gasoline where fine filtration is needed. The 80 micron element handles heavier engine oils and alcohol or ethanol-based fuels. The 150 micron element is the appropriate choice for power steering and transmission fluid applications. The filter body is rated to approximately 100 psi and the reusable aluminum housing allows element swaps without replacing the entire unit.
