Fitment Notes

• This end tank is specifically designed to mate with Vibrant Vertical Flow Intercooler Core PN 12853 (22 in. wide x 14 in. tall x 4.50 in. thick). Verify core dimensions before purchase.
• End tank must be TIG-welded to the intercooler core by a qualified fabricator. This is not a bolt-on assembly.
• Max inlet/outlet I.D. is 4 in. Inlet and outlet ports must be cut and welded by the fabricator to suit the specific pipe diameter of the build.
• Sold individually - one end tank per package. Two end tanks are required to complete a full intercooler assembly.
• Intercooler core (PN 12853) is sold separately.

The Vibrant Performance 22853 is a 3-piece vertical intercooler end tank assembly manufactured from 1/8 in. (3.2mm) thick 5052 aluminum sheet metal, designed specifically to pair with the Vibrant Vertical Flow Intercooler Core PN 12853. At 4.50 in. wide, 22.00 in. long, and 3.00 in. tall, this end tank provides a properly proportioned plenum volume for the 22 in. wide, 14 in. tall, 4.50 in. thick 12853 core, delivering efficient charge air distribution across the full face of the intercooler with minimal pressure drop. The 3-piece pre-formed construction eliminates the most time-consuming part of custom intercooler fabrication - shaping and forming end tank bodies from flat sheet - allowing builders to focus their time on inlet/outlet port placement, welding, and system integration.

The 5052 aluminum alloy used in this end tank offers excellent corrosion resistance, high fatigue strength, and outstanding TIG weldability - making it the industry standard choice for custom intercooler fabrication. With a maximum port I.D. of 4 in., the 22853 accommodates large-diameter charge piping suited to high-horsepower turbocharged builds.
