Product Description

The Vibrant 22831 is a 5052 aluminum horizontal flow intercooler end tank assembly designed for fabricators building custom front-mount intercoolers. The pre-formed end tank assembly eliminates the most time-consuming step of custom intercooler fabrication - forming and welding the end tanks from raw sheet material - while providing a precise, consistent starting point for both one-off and small-batch intercooler builds. The horizontal flow configuration routes charge air in one end tank and out the other, making it well suited for typical front-mount intercooler (FMIC) installations.

With a 3.25 in. maximum inlet/outlet I.D., a 3 in. end tank height, and a 28 in. full assembly width covering a 22 in. intercooler core width, the 22831 is sized appropriately for medium to high-output forced induction street and track builds. The 5052 aluminum construction is weldable with standard MIG or TIG equipment and provides excellent corrosion resistance in the underhood environment.
