Product Description

The Vibrant 1448 is a precision laser-cut T304 stainless steel turbine outlet (discharge) flange designed for Garrett GT25R, GT28R, and GT30R series turbochargers with 5-bolt oval divorced-port housings. The oval fishmouth outlet is machined with a recessed lip that accepts 3 in. nominal oval tubing for direct TIG or MIG welding, eliminating the need for additional transition pieces. For builders who want to convert the oval outlet to a round downpipe, the Vibrant 1448A oval-to-round transition adapter (sold separately) mates directly to this flange.

At 12 mm thick, the flange maintains a flat, warp-resistant mating surface against the turbocharger housing through repeated heat cycles - a common failure point on thinner flanges used on high-output GT-series builds. The divorced port geometry preserves exhaust pulse separation through the turbine outlet section for optimal flow characteristics. The mild steel equivalent (14480) is available for cost-sensitive applications where stainless is not required.
