Product Description

The Vibrant Performance 18976 is a -6AN PTFE-lined flex hose with a black nylon braided outer cover, sold in a 20-foot roll. The PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) inner liner is the defining advantage of this hose over standard rubber alternatives - it eliminates fuel vapor permeation, handles dramatically higher operating temperatures, and provides a chemically inert fluid path that is compatible with virtually every fluid used in performance and motorsport applications. With a maximum operating pressure of 2,500 psi and a burst pressure of 10,000 psi, the 18976 is engineered for the most demanding plumbing environments, from high-pressure fuel systems to turbo oil feed lines.

The conductive inner liner is a critical safety feature for fuel system use, dissipating electrostatic charge that can accumulate inside hoses carrying fuel - a requirement in many sanctioned racing environments and a best practice in all performance fuel plumbing.
