Product Description

The Vibrant 2782 is a 4-ply aramid reinforced silicone 90-degree reducer elbow that simultaneously routes piping at a 90-degree angle and steps the diameter up from 2.50 in. to 3.00 in. I.D. The 0.50 in. diameter change combined with the 90-degree bend makes this coupler well suited for intercooler piping, turbo compressor outlet connections, and air intake systems where both a directional change and a diameter transition are needed in a compact installation space. The combined bend-and-expand design eliminates the need for separate reducer and elbow components in the same plumbing run, reducing component count and potential leak points.

The hand-wrapped aramid reinforcement between each ply of silicone provides structural integrity under sustained high-boost and high-temperature conditions, rated to 60 psi burst strength. The 3.50 in. leg lengths on both ends provide ample overlap for secure T-bolt or worm gear clamp installation. All Vibrant Performance aramid reinforced silicone couplers meet or exceed SAE J20 specifications and are UV and ozone resistant. Not suitable for oil or fuel service - for air, boost, water, and coolant applications only. Available in blue (2782B) and red (2782R) as well. Sold individually.
