Product Description

The Vibrant 19744 is a 4-ply aramid reinforced silicone straight reducer transition connector that steps down from a 5 in. inside diameter to a 4 in. inside diameter over a compact 4.50 in. overall length. The hand-wrapped aramid reinforcement layers between each ply of silicone provide the structural integrity needed to withstand sustained high-boost and high-temperature conditions in large-diameter intercooler piping, turbo inlet ducting, and air intake systems. With a burst pressure rating in excess of 100 psi, this connector is rated for the pressure demands of performance forced induction applications.

The straight reducer profile provides a clean inline diameter transition without introducing a bend, making it ideal for situations where only a size change - not a directional change - is required in the piping layout. All Vibrant Performance aramid reinforced silicone connectors meet or exceed SAE J20 specifications and are UV and ozone resistant. Not suitable for oil or fuel service - for air, boost, water, and coolant applications only. Sold individually.
