Product Description

The Vibrant 19746 is a 4-ply aramid reinforced silicone straight reducer transition coupler that steps from a 4 in. inside diameter to a 4.25 in. inside diameter over a compact 4.50 in. overall length. The hand-wrapped aramid reinforcement layers between each ply of silicone provide the structural integrity needed to withstand sustained high-boost and high-temperature conditions in large-diameter intercooler piping, turbo inlet ducting, and air intake systems. The modest 0.25 in. step-up makes this coupler well suited for connections where two components have a slight diameter mismatch - eliminating the need for adapter sleeves or custom fabrication.

All Vibrant Performance aramid reinforced silicone couplers meet or exceed SAE J20 specifications and are UV and ozone resistant for long-term durability in underhood environments. The operating temperature range of -75°F to 392°F accommodates the full thermal demands of both naturally aspirated and forced induction applications.
