Product Description

The Vibrant Performance 11822 is a 4-ply Aramid reinforced silicone hump hose coupler with a 4.00" I.D. and 6" overall length, designed for high-temperature and high-boost intercooler, charge air, and coolant piping connections. The hump profile allows for slight angular misalignment and axial movement between the coupled pipes - useful where two pipes are not in perfect alignment due to fabrication tolerances or component movement under thermal load and vibration. Three integrated reinforcement rings running along the coupler body prevent collapse under vacuum and maintain shape under sustained boost pressure, while the 4-ply Aramid reinforcement prevents swelling or splitting at the connections.

Rated for -65°F to 350°F and UV and ozone resistant, the 11822 holds up to sustained underhood conditions across both street and competition applications. It is not suitable for oil or fuel service - for those applications, Vibrant offers custom hose solutions. Secure with quality T-bolt or worm-drive clamps (sold separately) over each end of the coupled tubing. Sold individually with a 1-year limited warranty.
