Product Description

The Vibrant Performance 11829 is a 4-ply Aramid reinforced silicone CAC (Charge Air Cooler) hump hose coupler with a 4.00" I.D. and 7.00" overall length, designed for high-temperature and high-pressure intercooler, charge air, and coolant piping connections. The bellows/hump profile compensates for minor pipe misalignment and isolates vibration between coupled components, while three integrated stainless steel rings resist excessive hose expansion under boost pressure - maintaining the coupler's shape and internal diameter under sustained load. At 7" long, it provides slightly more flexibility than the standard 6" 11822 variant at the same 4.00" I.D., making it well suited to CAC piping setups where greater coupling length aids in vibration management.

Rated for -75°F to 392°F, the 11829 handles both hot-side and cold-side intercooler piping as well as coolant circuits. It is not suitable for oil or fuel service. Secure with T-bolt or worm-drive clamps (sold separately) over each end of the coupled tubing. Sold individually with a 1-year limited warranty.
