Product Description

The Vibrant Performance 11827 is a 4-ply Aramid reinforced silicone hump hose coupler with a 3.5" I.D. and 8" overall length, designed for high-temperature and high-pressure intercooler, charge air, and coolant piping connections. At 8" long, it provides more flexibility for misalignment compensation and vibration absorption than the shorter 11821 (3.5" x 6"), making it the better choice for installations where pipes are subject to greater movement or where a longer coupling zone helps manage system vibration. The three stainless steel reinforcement rings embedded along the hump body actively resist hose expansion under boost pressure, maintaining the coupler's shape and internal diameter under sustained load.

Rated for -75°F to 392°F, the 11827 is suited to both hot-side and cold-side intercooler piping applications, as well as coolant and water circuits. It is not suitable for oil or fuel service. Secure with quality T-bolt or worm-drive clamps (sold separately) over each end of the coupled tubing. Sold individually with a 1-year limited warranty.
