The Vibrant 21996 is a forged 6061 aluminum 90-degree swivel hose end fitting designed specifically for use with -16 AN PTFE-lined braided flex hose. The forged construction provides greater strength and a smoother internal flow path than cast alternatives, and the swivel-style body rotates freely during assembly - making it significantly easier to route and tighten the hose in congested engine bay and chassis plumbing layouts where a 90-degree turn is required. At -16 AN, this is one of the largest sizes in Vibrant's PTFE hose end lineup, suited for high-volume fuel delivery, large-bore oil lines, and other high-flow applications.

This fitting is designed exclusively for use with Vibrant PTFE-lined braided flex hose - it is not compatible with standard rubber-lined braided hose. The PTFE hose and fitting combination provides superior chemical resistance, eliminates fuel vapor permeation, and handles the elevated temperatures common in high-performance forced induction fuel and oil systems. The black hard anodized finish provides corrosion resistance and consistent appearance. Available in anodized black only. Sold individually.
