Product Description

For builds where a traditional air-to-air intercooler doesn't fit or can't get enough ambient airflow, the Vibrant 12970 offers a water-to-air alternative that cools more effectively in a smaller package - water conducts heat far better than air, letting this core do more work in less space. That makes it especially useful for drag applications or tight engine bays where duct routing to a front-mount intercooler just isn't practical.

Built with bar-and-plate construction to handle sustained high boost, it's sized for roughly 500-1000 HP applications - the smallest in Vibrant's water-to-air core lineup. Since it's sold as a standalone core, plan on pairing it with a compatible heat exchanger, pump, and plumbing to complete the water-to-air circuit; Vibrant's own tubing and fitting lineup covers the rest of that system.
