Product Description

The Vibrant Performance 12181 is a 6063 aluminum 120° tight radius mandrel bend at 2.50" O.D., designed for custom intercooler piping, intake fabrication, and other pressurized or naturally aspirated air system builds. The 120° angle provides a wider directional sweep than a standard 90° bend in a single tube section, making it the right choice when routing needs to redirect beyond a right angle - such as when wrapping around a large engine component or routing from a turbocharger compressor outlet toward an intercooler inlet in a complex path. The 1.75" centerline radius keeps the overall footprint compact despite the wider sweep angle, and true mandrel bending maintains the full 2.50" internal diameter throughout.

Constructed from 6063 aluminum with a brushed finish, the 12181 is lightweight, corrosion resistant, and requires minimal surface preparation for TIG welding. Leg lengths of 5.00" and 1.50" allow trimming to the exact fit required. For the 90° tight radius equivalent at 2.50" O.D., use PN 12180; for the 120° tight radius at 3.00" O.D., use PN 12186.
