The Yukon ZA G1255802-SH is a direct-fit replacement 1541H alloy axle shaft for the GM 8.2" and 8.5" passenger car rear differential found in second-generation Camaros and Firebirds, along with the Chevelle and Monte Carlo of the same era. Built from 1541H alloy steel, it's designed to offer better durability than the original factory axle when replacing a broken, worn, or corroded shaft during a repair or restoration.

This is a 28-spline axle measuring 30-1/8" long with a 2.780" hub/brake pilot diameter, engineered to OE dimensions for a proper fit. It's closely related to - but not interchangeable with - the shorter 29-1/2" G1255803-SH axle used on earlier A/F/X-body GM cars, so confirming your exact axle length before ordering is an important step, especially if you're cross-shopping the two part numbers.

This axle is sold individually - a complete rear axle set requires two. It does not include wheel studs, bearings, or seals, so plan to order those separately if you're doing a full axle service.
