Fitment Notes

• This is a 30-spline axle; stock 1965-1969 trucks originally used a 17-spline axle, so installing this axle also requires upgrading to a 30-spline carrier
• 1963-1964 model year trucks use a different axle seal (2.535" OD) than 1965-1969 trucks (2.579" OD) - confirm the correct seal for your model year, and note 1963-1964 trucks also require the 30-spline carrier upgrade if converting from the stock 17-spline setup

This is a 30-spline axle, which is stronger than the 17-spline axle these trucks originally came with - but that strength upgrade only works if your differential carrier has also been converted to accept 30-spline axles.
