Fitment Notes

• Tested with 1-1/2" diameter UMI trailing arms, UMI's 22mm sway bar, and 32mm drag anti-roll bar. Fitment with other brands' sway bars or larger-diameter control arms is not guaranteed - contact UMI to confirm before ordering if running non-UMI parts.
• Drilling one 3/8" hole per side is required to complete installation; no welding needed.

Product Description

The factory stud-type rear shock on 3rd-gen F-body Camaros and Firebirds offers no adjustability, leaving drag racers stuck with a fixed setup that can't be tuned for launch or track conditions. The UMI 2046-C211-110 replaces that setup with a true double-shear coilover conversion, opening up full control over ride height, spring rate, and damping through Viking's 19-way adjustable shocks.

Built specifically for drag applications with a 110 lb spring and -1" to +1" ride height range, it's paired with laser-cut, TIG-welded 3/16" steel brackets that bolt directly into the stock shock mount and an added reinforcement point - no welding required, just one 3/8" hole drilled per side. It's proven with UMI's own trailing arms and sway bars, making it a natural pairing for a full UMI rear suspension setup rather than a standalone shock swap.
