Product Description

The UMI Performance 7995-102 is a spanner wrench and thrust bearing kit designed for on-car ride height adjustment on Viking and UMI rear coilover shock assemblies using 2.50" I.D. springs. The thrust bearing installs between the coilover spring and the spring seat, allowing the spring seat to rotate freely on the bearing as the spanner wrench turns the adjuster collar - eliminating the binding and spring wind-up that occurs when adjusting height without a bearing in place. UMI specifically recommends against making on-car height adjustments without a thrust bearing kit, as doing so can damage the spring seat surface and introduce inaccurate preload to the spring.

The kit includes a steel black anodized spanner wrench with a 5.5" handle length sized for the Viking D-series and UMI rear coilover spring seat collars, along with stainless steel roller bearings and washers for both sides of the rear suspension. While not required to complete a coilover installation, it is a recommended accessory for any build where ride height will be adjusted at home or at the track. Manufactured 100% in the USA.
