Product Description

The UMI Performance 4034-R is a 1-inch solid 4140 CrMo rear sway bar for 1964-1972 GM A-Body vehicles including the Chevelle, Malibu, Monte Carlo, GTO, LeMans, Tempest, Cutlass, 442, Skylark, GS, and related models. Hot formed and heat treated as a single piece, this bar maintains its shape and memory far longer than cold-bent alternatives. It bolts directly to the lower control arms with included hardware -- no modifications needed -- and is compatible with both factory and most aftermarket tubular control arms as well as 10-bolt and 12-bolt rear housings.

Designed to significantly reduce body roll and understeer while improving cornering balance and straight-line stability during hard launches. The red powder coat finish provides lasting corrosion protection and a clean underbody appearance. When installing with an aftermarket Ford 9" rear end, verify clearance around the drain plug guard. Also available in black as PN 4034-B, or as a front/rear sway bar kit as PN 403534-R.
