Fitment Notes

• Front springs only - sold as a pair. Rear lowering springs sold separately (see UMI Performance 4050R).
• 1 in. drop is engineered for standard SBC, aluminum head and intake Big Block, Pontiac 400, and LS power applications.
• Lightened cars may require spring trimming to achieve the intended 1 in. drop.
• Also suitable for full-weight Big Block applications when a nose-down rake is desired.
• This part fits 1964-1972 GM A-Body only - does not fit G-Body platforms.

Product Description

The UMI Performance 4050F is a set of front lowering springs engineered specifically for 1964-1972 GM A-Body platforms. Wound from 5160 chrome silicon wire and rated at a linear 530 lb/in, these springs are significantly stiffer than stock, delivering a firm, controlled ride with reduced body roll and a lower center of gravity. The approximate 1 in. drop is calibrated for standard SBC, aluminum head and intake Big Block, Pontiac 400, and LS-swapped builds - making them a strong choice for Pro-Tour, Autocross, and spirited street driving applications.

Developed with input from a NASCAR Sprint Cup chassis engineer, the 4050F installs within the factory front suspension geometry with no modifications required. Full-weight Big Block builds can also use these springs when a nose-down rake is preferred. The black powder-coat finish resists corrosion for long-term durability.
