The Turbosmart TS-0506-1041 Gen4 HyperGate45 is a 45mm V-band external wastegate positioned as a cost-effective, street-performance solution for medium-to-large capacity turbocharged engines that don't require full motorsport-specification components. Originally introduced in 2011 and officially re-introduced after the GenV launch at a reduced price point, the Gen4 HyperGate45 remains Australian-made, hand-assembled, and individually tested to the same manufacturing standards that have defined Turbosmart for over 25 years. It is positioned specifically for builders and tuners who want genuine Turbosmart quality and reliability in a value-tier package suitable for street performance, pump fuel, and E85 builds.

The stainless steel cast body and aluminum actuator housing provide solid thermal durability while keeping overall weight low. The solid one-piece stainless steel valve and proprietary high-temp silicon Nomex diaphragm deliver reliable operation under the heat and pressure cycling demands of turbocharged street use. The unique locking collar design reduces unit height and allows spring changes to be performed quickly without removing the wastegate from the manifold, and the V-band connections on both the inlet and outlet ensure compatibility with all popular 44mm and 46mm peer flanges.

Installation suits 1.75" O.D. manifold pipe and uses the included stainless steel weld flanges and V-band clamps. The 14 PSI base spring is pre-installed, with the full 3-26 PSI spring range available separately for custom base pressure tuning. Twin 1/16" NPT reference ports on both the cap and base provide flexible boost reference routing. Full spares and accessories support is available through Turbosmart's Legacy Program for long-term serviceability.
