Product Description

The Turbosmart TS-0552-1102 is a GenV WG40 CompGate40 Motorsport external wastegate in Black with a 40mm valve and 14 PSI base spring pressure. The Motorsport variant of the GenV CompGate40 features an additional CFD-driven heatsink between the wastegate body and actuator housing, proven to dissipate significantly more heat than the standard version and further isolate the actuator from thermal stress in the most demanding racing environments. This is a ground-up 5th-generation redesign -- CFD optimized and validated in-house for maximum flow performance and thermal management, delivering more features, configurability, and performance than any previous Turbosmart gate.

The high-temperature 347 stainless steel body is paired with an SS316 valve seat and Nitronic 60 valve guide for extreme durability under sustained high-EGT conditions. The 17/7 PH stainless steel springs are interchangeable across the 3-14 PSI range (inner, middle, and outer springs available separately) for precise base pressure tuning. Turbosmart's unique collar-locking system secures all components, while the variable actuator cap and base allow 360-degree routing of 1/8" NPT reference hoses for clean installation in any orientation. Strap-type V-band clamps, inlet and outlet weld flanges, and a complete fitting kit are included. Optional liquid cooling provisions are built in for extreme thermal applications, and a wastegate position sensor cap is available as an upgrade.
