• Universal - No direct OEM vehicle fitment. Compatible with any custom turbocharged build using a standard 38mm 3-bolt external wastegate manifold provision.

Fitment Notes

• Traditional 3-bolt flange orientation - direct fit upgrade to all Turbosmart Gen4 38mm wastegates and compatible 3-bolt peer products using the same mounting pattern.
• Weld flanges are NOT included - stainless or mild steel weld flanges must be purchased separately as GenV UltraGate38 accessories.
• Liquid cooling ports (1/8" NPT) are present but optional; the GenV thermal architecture operates reliably without coolant lines in most performance applications.
• Optional position sensor cap is available separately for closed-loop boost control data logging strategies.

Product Description

The Turbosmart TS-0551-1013 GenV UltraGate38 is the purple anodized version of Turbosmart's 38mm external wastegate, offering the complete GenV performance platform in a distinctive finish suited to builds where color coordination across forced induction components matters. It is functionally identical to the standard GenV UltraGate38 across all performance-critical specifications - the purple finish is applied to the actuator housing only, while all valve, body, and spring materials remain unchanged.

The GenV platform represents a full ground-up redesign of Turbosmart's external wastegate range, retaining only the Gen4 mounting orientation for direct backward compatibility. The Nitronic 60 valve guide and high-temp 347 stainless steel body deliver superior thermal fatigue resistance under sustained high exhaust gas temperatures. All four spring options - 3, 5, 7, and 14 PSI - are included in the box, with 14 PSI pre-installed, allowing base pressure to be tailored to the build without additional spring purchases. The infinitely clockable actuator housing and 1/8" NPT ports on both the cap and base allow reference hose and optional coolant line routing in any direction.

Installation requires a turbo manifold with a standard 38mm 3-bolt wastegate provision, compatible with all Turbosmart Gen4 38mm wastegates and peer 3-bolt products. Weld flanges are not included and must be sourced separately in either stainless or mild steel. An optional position sensor cap is available as an accessory for tuners requiring real-time wastegate position data for closed-loop boost control strategies.
