Fitment Notes

• Reversed rotation - shaft and compressor wheel spin in the opposite direction to a standard turbocharger. Intended for twin-turbo mirror setups only; will not function as a standard single-turbo replacement.
• Requires a V-Band turbine inlet exhaust manifold (2.25" V-Band inlet) or V-Band turbo manifold adapter for installation.
• Turbine outlet is 3.00" V-Band - a matching V-Band downpipe or collector is required.
• Externally wastegated design requires a separate external wastegate (not included) plumbed to the exhaust manifold prior to the turbine inlet.
• Oil cooled only - does not include water cooling provisions. For oil and water cooled, refer to the TS-2 version (TS-2-6466B-VR082E).
• Custom oil feed and drain lines are required - oil feed and drain fittings are included in the box.

Product Description

The Turbosmart TS-1-6466B-VR082E is the reversed-rotation variant of the TS-1 6466 V-Band 0.82AR externally wastegated turbocharger, rated for 825-955 HP. Mechanically identical to the standard TS-1-6466B-VB082E in all specifications - 64mm compressor inducer, 66mm turbine exducer, 2.25" V-Band inlet, 3.00" V-Band outlet, and 0.82 A/R turbine housing - this unit differs exclusively in shaft rotation direction. The reversed rotation makes it the correct secondary turbocharger for a parallel twin-turbo mirror setup, where symmetrical compressor outlet positioning is required for clean, equal-length charge pipe routing on both banks.

Like all TS-1 turbochargers, the 6466B-VR082E is built around the proprietary dual ceramic bearing system with ultra-low rotating mass, delivering sharp transient response and strong spool-up performance for its power class. The 713C Inconel turbine wheel handles extreme EGTs without fatigue, and the 310S stainless steel investment cast turbine housing keeps weight low and thermal resistance high. VSR speed balancing and an integrated iron backplate on the center housing complete the precision build specification. This turbocharger is sold individually - pair with the standard-rotation TS-1-6466B-VB082E for a matched mirror twin-turbo setup. For builds requiring water cooling, the TS-2 water-cooled variant is available as TS-2-6466B-VR082E.
