Product Description

The Turbosmart TS-0601-3142 IWG75 Internal Wastegate Actuator is engineered to improve boost control and turbocharger response on the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X equipped with the factory TD05H turbocharger. Featuring a 14 PSI base boost pressure spring, this upgraded actuator increases the working ratio compared to the factory unit, helping the turbocharger achieve peak boost earlier in the RPM range and maintain boost pressure longer under load.

The actuator uses Turbosmart's proprietary Silicon Nomex diaphragm along with a billet aluminum housing and stainless steel rod assembly to deliver consistent boost regulation under high temperature and high-pressure conditions. The increased diaphragm surface area improves leverage against boost and exhaust backpressure, allowing the turbo system to respond faster and operate more efficiently across the powerband.

Designed as a direct bolt-on upgrade for the 4B11T-powered Evolution X, the TS-0601-3142 installs in place of the factory actuator with no fabrication required. This 14 PSI configuration is intended as a direct replacement for the factory boost level, while higher-pressure variants in the IWG75 range may require ECU tuning or recalibration to maintain safe air-fuel ratios and boost control.
