The Turbosmart TS-0555-1242 GenV PowerGate60CG is a high-performance 60mm external wastegate designed for turbocharged engines using compressed gas or CO2 boost control strategies. This high-pressure version of the PowerGate60CG uses an inverted diaphragm configuration, allowing the wastegate to handle significant pressure differentials while delivering extremely precise boost regulation across a wide boost range. The system is commonly used in motorsport environments such as drag racing where compressed gas boost control provides faster and more stable boost management.

The GenV design was completely re-engineered to deliver improved flow, durability, and thermal stability. The wastegate features a high-temperature 347 stainless steel body, Nitronic 60 valve guide, and durable 17-7 PH stainless steel springs engineered to withstand extreme exhaust heat and boost pressures.
