Product Description

The Turbosmart FPR8 (TS-0404-1032) is a high-performance -8AN fuel pressure regulator built for EFI street and race applications requiring precise, stable fuel pressure control between 35 and 80 psi. Operating on a true 1:1 boost-referenced design, the FPR8 automatically raises fuel pressure in proportion to rising manifold pressure - maintaining a consistent differential across the injectors and preventing lean conditions under boost. The result is a more accurate air-to-fuel ratio throughout the entire powerband, from idle to full boost.

Every FPR8 body is CNC machined in-house from billet aluminium and paired with a stainless steel valve seat and Milspec diaphragm - a combination that not only provides long-term durability under sustained heat and pressure but also ensures compatibility with the most aggressive fuel types available, including E85, methanol, race fuel, and leaded blends. The locking collar adjustment system allows quick pressure changes without tools, and the integrated 1/8 in. NPT port accepts a fuel pressure gauge or sensor for real-time monitoring and tuning. With a flow capacity supporting up to 2000HP, the FPR8 is well suited to everything from a heavily built street car to a purpose-built race platform.

Installation is straightforward, connecting -8AN fuel lines to the inlet, outlet, and return ports. Builders running -10AN systems should consider the FPR10 (TS-0404-1042), while those on carbureted or low-pressure setups should select the FPR8 LP (TS-0404-1132), rated for 3-20 psi. Optional accessories including fuel rail adapters for popular makes, billet mounting brackets, and fuel pressure gauges are available separately to complete the installation.
